All Grass Is Green
This is an email which I often get. Free $20 sound impressive and tempting. But I am never tempted. I signed up halfway. And I do not want to continue the sign-up process, not even free $20. That was several monthS to a year back. My balance with them was perhaps less than $3 then.
I don’t Believe In Bullshit

BlogCharm Is Back

Change of ownership? Whatever, as long as there is justice, as long as I get paid for my hardwork and as long as I get back what I deserve. Internet Payment has been so unreliable. You can see so many beautiful works about companies, nice advertisement, impressive headers and charming works until you get charm. But all the charm could earn you nothing but a spell that makes you lose energy thereafter.
Never had I dreamed that my blogs at BlogCharm will still exist. I thought there would be gone, until I come across them last night. I requested for my money earned so far. I hope this time they would not let me wait until a year later or says lame excuse like bugs and that. There are people who have balanced of $100 pending, that is what I read on the net. They waited a year, just like me for payment.
This is all human behind at work. Where humans at work are concerned, there are bound to have mistakes, errors and imperfections — sins of all kinds. When you want to start anything, be prepared to lose. Nothing is surewin and nothing is all ours. What we have is all from God originally, the one who created us, including our wisdom and intelligence. Give people a chance to grow, a chance to make success. But BlogCharm also must hear the voices of bloggers, for their business is made up of bloggers. If there is no justice, there is no peace, and no Peace will be there.
It’s not a matter of how much they owed me, but a matter of trust.

Tortured By Money

My mother told me to “open my eyes big big when you marry next time”. My mind and my heart was blank at those moment. Those words have no impact on me at all.
What Your Mother Teaches You
Your mother told you “the pot is hot, the iron is hot, don’t touch”. She also told you “if you touch the hot fire, you will hurt your hands”. If you still don’t listen or don’t understand, she will tell you “you will cry if you touch the hot plate or play with fire”. She told you about pain, but you do not know what is pain. She told you what is danger, what is hot, what is cold, you do not know too. You can check the dictionary, you can ask around, you often heard the words, but you can only know the meaning in words, but what is the real meaning in your heart and mind, do you really understand? You only realize the meaning of danger, hot, cold, and pain when you feel it with your own hands and when you get hurt and got Pain incurred on you.
Learn From Experience
It is perfectly alright to learn about hot and cold by touching. But at extreme temperatures, you might get injured. You get injured when there is fire and you might get froze bite when there is extreme cold. But that is lesson learn, a real experience. Experience good and experience bad — nothing can win the perfect magic of experience.
Experience has taught me many things. Experience has brought me lots of pain.
I am Lost. I am Defeated. I failed. I am Broken, utterly broken — broken heart and broken mind. You would not see, you would not know, but I know I failed. I need to mend my broken heart and my broken mind fast. Time and tide wait for no one. Lots of responsibilities to fulfill and it’s all about TIME when COOPERATION seems so hard.
I welcome pain. Have pain and I understand what is comfort and pleasure. Have pain and I think more and learn more. Have pain and I am coming to know God, my answers to my questions.

My Life, My Art
Yesterday I am Sorry, Blame It On Me. Today, I allowed all The Rain on me. My sister does not believe that I have no money. She always said my money “ba ba” (teochew, meaning full). She dyed her hair and asked me to go buy New Year clothes. I told her I did not want to waste money. When I am earning so hard for money, how can I afford to let money fly away easily just like that?
My eyes were sealed, blinded by love or was it refused to open? I shut down the door of God. My mother asked me to go to Church. I did not listen to my mother. Today, I understand what my mother said and I understand how my mother felt.
Money, The Source of Pain
Whatever we do, all is for Money. He took up loans and endless loans to “Invest”. But that in my view is never correct. If he had been in the right path, the family would not suffer debts. He wanted wealth, but end up in being Money Slaves and “Poverty” life. I hate this. We are getting poorer and not richer year after year, especially with price hike now. Nobody would like their any of their family members to be a ‘gambler’. Everybody in the family will not stand any good. The children are always the ones that suffer the most and they are the innocent ones. They are the ones who will grow up, learning the ‘Bad’ things indirectly. I hate to see this, and I must try as hard as possible to let my children follow God’s way of life, the true path to happiness in life and the right way to lead one’s life.

What is regarded as Success? Many relate Success to the amount of Money they have. Families have couples working. Some have children. By having a stable job and a family as such, is that success? Friends working, have wife, kids and maid. Many such families have cars and some families have condominium or landed property. How many really successful ones are there — one in which they are personally happy and feeling satisfied spiritually. If that is being so, there will not be so many unhappy marriages and divorce. The amount of money does not equate to happiness. Without money, there is no happiness too. Everybody need to eat, but there should be moderation, a balance of everything in life. But when there is no work and there is no stable income, but only regular bills and regular monthly interests payment to be made, that is the problem of life.

This Chinese New Year, my mother gave me these gifts as shown above. My mother loves to drink Tiger Beer. Blackie loves to drink Tiger Beer too. He always give Tiger Beer Free Gifts to my mother too.

Chinese New Year Hamper

Chinese New Year is a period of giving gifts. Giving Chinese New Year Hampers is a very common tradition since my younger days. My father used to buy expensive and cheap hampers to give to business bosses and even some of his employees. It is a good time to show appreciation and strengthen business relationships and ties. It is a golden opportunity to open new business for insurance adviser or financial adviser too.
The picture above is an example of Chinese New Year hamper. There are many types of hampers. There are canned food plus Chinese New Year Goodies food hampers, Flowers and Fruit Hampers and like this example above, tonic food hampers. There are Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, abalone, Ginseng, bird’s nest and shark’s fin soup in the hampers.
In the past, Richard and my brother-in-law used to give my parents Chinese New Year Hampers. The hampers looked nice. People often display their Chinese New Year in their house and open them only on or after the 15th day of Chinese New Year. This is where they realized that the contents are not as good as you have thought them to be. If you add the values of the items in the hampers, they are generally so much cheaper. They are definitely not value for money or not worth your money at all if you want to buy hampers for your own use. After a few years, my parents finally told us to stop wasting money. Buy bird’s nest, buy tonic and buy Chinese New Year food from NTUC Fairprice or Shop & Save is definitely cheaper and save you more money for other things than buying hampers.
However, if you are doing business, giving hampers is definitely much better than giving bags of food purchased from NTUC Fairprice or Shop & Save. This is because where business is concerned, impression always count.
