Price Hike Rant

This can of Braised Peanuts used to cost S$0.40. Over the years, I saw the price changed, from $0.40 to 45cents, to 50 cents in the beginning of the year, to 55 cents when there was mentioned of GST increased, and the LATEST 70 cents!!!! Seventy cents NOW! How many percent increase? They said they absorb GST for a few months for CERTAIN items. How we really know that? Now, the period must be over, and is that what you call going hungry and starving yourself before you go for a buffet?
This is bullshiting. Saving plastic bags or reducing plastic bags. I help you to save, I need to buy my own plastic bags to throw rubbish! I would not throw plastic bags unnecessarily. I know what is saving the planet. But give me a solution on my end. This is not a solution for everybody — using recycle bag! It is FOR their own good, they save, NOT I save!
Do you know that their plastic bags are of poorer quality now? They tear easily and you cannot throw anything in them. With poorer quality plastic bags, you are saving money on your end, but wasting things in the end. Plastic bags cannot be used and what happens? Throw away! Who is saving the planet? You are thinking only of ways to save your company and ways to make more money for yourself!
Who are to be blamed? The plants produced fruits with qualities which the farmers had put in with. If you want good fruits, you look after your plants, with care. If you save money, give your plants rubbish, your plants will produce no good fruits. You want money or you want good fruits?
You want more money just to tell people that you are the richest farmer in the world. You impress people with your highest quality farm house. You might have the top farm house, the first farm in the world to have modern marbles, modern glass, modern durian rooftop on your farmhouse and so on. But do you care about the quality of your crops? Do you care about what people are eating and what the crops are feeling (do you really feel that even plants have no feeling?)
I am not lunatic. I am not blaming anyone, but you someone push you, who is pushing behind the person? What happen to me? Do I not push other people in front of me? Even if I don’t push people in front of me, I would have been pushed down by people behind me. I would ‘indirectly’ push people in front of me, and what happen to me if I am not prepared? I would have been stepped — that is a terrible plight to be stepped!!!!
You want fame or you want peace and harmony? There is no winning of everything. Greed is the yearning for more. When you have one, you want two. When you have two, you want three. You are blinded. Can there be less to surprise us rather than more to ‘please’ everybody? Is more necessarily good? Is it needs or wants? You learned that. You teach that. Did you really apply that? Fame, power, wealth and status. All you want. At the expense of who?
Got brains and got eyes to see will know what I am talking about. If I make myself clear, I would have no peace! Perhaps I make myself rest in peace.

Impress people with a farm that has the best effective transportation that can bring tourist and visitors round your farm. Collect more money, destroy more lives — killing plants, unborn babies, insane people, and innocent lives. What do you stand to win when you have all these? Reputation, the highest standing, the one smiling and powerful. You have it all.
