Affiliate Earnings
By Money Sick | November 8, 2007
There are so many affiliate programs but do they really pay? I have many affiliate programs but so far the only affiliate programs which I had received payment is TLA or Text-linked Ads. I have affiliate programs with Commission Junction, Clickbank, Shareasale, artslink, posterads etc as well as those blogs advertising companies like Blogsvertise, Payperpost(PPP) and now Smorty also has its own.
I signed up the affiliate programs for more than one year and perhaps now it is coming to two years or more. However, I did not make any affiliate earnings at all. The first time I signed up PPP, I was hesitant about putting their referral badge. I tried anyway. Within a short period of time, I had a referral, who joined me. Each referral is $15. I was happy and awaiting for 30 days at least to get my payment. Towards the end of the month, I was disappointed that I was not paid. I waited for some more time. June, July, August and soon September was over. As the time passed, I was no longer optimistic about affiliate earnings.
Last month, October, I was adding trying to add see my profile at Blogsvertise as they had now added video profile. I had hardly checked my affiliate earnings. I was surprised that I had made some earnings during the months of September and October, both $21 and $19.40 respectively. At PPP, my referral earnings is $60 so far. But these seems like merely just a show, or perhaps a sales tactics, to let you feel motivated and you can go round promoting their website. My views is not going to change unless I receive payments from them.
Two days ago, I sent Blogsvertise a mail from their website (Contact Us), asking them how affiliate earnings will be paid out. Is it after 30 days or what. No reply was given. Yesterday I sent out another email from my own personal email to them, those people who worked there. Again no reply was ever made. They are always very regular in replying emails. But when it comes to payment, people hate to reply.
So to date, the only affiliate program which I trust is TLA. Although I had received a one-time payment from them, this is suffice. Everything is transparent there. Referrals signed up and number of clicks from our site. This is the kind of website that we can trust.
For people who have website, you can sign up TLA to earn extra money from your site. Click on the Buy Links or Sell Links banner or Textlinked ads banners on the right side bar.
